Deposits

  1. There has to be a written communication from the customer, in the form of a email, letter, enrollment form or SMS, requesting for International roaming.
  2. ISD facility, a must for International Roaming.
  3. Additional Rs. 4000/- should be taken as deposit for International roaming. This is over and above the basic deposits such as security deposit (local), ISD deposit & STD deposit (if any).
  4. Customers can alternatively opt for “Direct Debit” mode of payment and pay a reduced deposit of Rs.2000 (additional) for International Roaming. Rs. 2000 to be charged to the credit card provided by the customer.

For those using Motorola A840 (World Phone) w hile roaming in on CDMA network you need to do the following:

  • Step-1: Settings » Phone mode » select CDMA mode
  • Step-2: Settings » CDMA settings » CDMA Set mode » Automatic

How to activate your International
Roaming

  • Visit your nearest Tata Indicom True Value Hub & fill up the international roaming Service Enrolment Form ( SEF )
  • International Roaming Subscription Charges:
  • Security Deposit - Rs. 4000
  • ISD deposit is - Rs. 3000 (ISD feature is a pre-requisite for availing international roaming subscription)
  • Activate Tata Indicom One World One Number T-SIM card.
  • If you are using a Tata Indicom T-SIM based phone, you will be provided with a new Dual Mode Tata Indicom One World One Number T-SIM. This T-SIM card will work with your existing phone in India as well as with a suitable GSM phone while roaming internationally in a GSM country
  • If you are at present using a Tata Indicom non T-SIM phone, you will be provided with a new dual mode Tata Indicom One World One Number T-SIM. This T-SIM will work in a suitable GSM phone while roaming internationally in a GSM country
  • You will receive an SMS confirming that international roaming services are activated
