A. There are different applications in the program menu:

• ActiveSync,
• Calander,
• Contacts,
• Pocket Word,
• Pocket Excel

A. Pocket Word is the application on your EGO which enables you to create text documents or to copy & access word files from your PC on to your EGO.

A. For accessing this application, you need to tap on start and then tap on Pocket Word.

Q38. What is Pocket Excel in my EGO programs? (Back)

A. Pocket Excel is the application on your EGO which enables you to create new spread sheets or to copy & access excel files from your PC on to your EGO.

A. For accessing this application, you need to tap on start and then tap on Pocket Excel.

A. Windows Media Player for Pocket PC to play digital audio and video files which are stored on your device .

Q42. How do I connect to the internet using the EGO? (Back)

A. For connecting and browsing internet do the following steps:

• Tap on the start option and then tap on the Internet Explorer option.
• Then type the Web address in the address bar which on the top screen.
• Then press the go button. This will display the web site on the screen.

Q43. What are the icons seen while using internet?(Back)

A. Various icons were seen at the bottom of browser, while using internet :

• : This icon is used for choosing the previous web address.
• : This icon is used for Refreshing the page.
• : This icon is used to go back to the home page which is set.
• : This icon is used to save a web address as favourites.

Q44. What is the Email Messages option in my EGO ? (Back)

A. You can set up a connection to an e-mail server using this option, so that you can send and receive e-mail messages by using a modem or network connection and Inbox on your EGO .

Q45. How do I setup an Email service?(Back)

A. To use this service you need to setup an account first. Follow these steps for setting a new account:

• Open Messaging on your EGO , tap on Accounts option and then on New Account. Follow the directions in the New Account Wizard.
• Fill in you e-mail address then tap Next which will initiate auto-configuration which attempts to connect your Pocket PC Phone to your e-mail server and automatically download the necessary e-mail connection settings.

1. If auto-configuration is successful you can immediately begin sending/receiving e-mails.
2. If auto-configuration is unsuccessful you will need to manually enter the settings.

• Enter your name, User name and Password, then tap Next.
• From the drop down menu select the Account type that your e-mail provider supports (POP3 or IMAP4).
• Enter a Name for your e-mail account then tap Next.

• Enter your e-mail provider's server name information for Incoming mail and Outgoing mail and tap on Finish.

When finished, to connect to your e-mail server, tap Accounts and then on Connect.
