1. How much do I have to pay?
   Single Channel : @ Rs. 4 per month.
   My 10 : Combination of 10 channels @ Rs 29 per month.
   My Full Pack : All channels @Rs75 per month.

2. How do I get this service, if I am an existing user of Tata Photon+
   You can visit www.tataindicom.com/photontv & download the application using Tata Photon+ connection. There is no charge for downloading the application over and above the tariff but standard tariffs apply for downloading


3. How do I get this service, if I am NOT an existing user of Tata Photon+
   This service is only available for Tata Photon+. If you are not an existing user of Tata Photon+, You’ll have to buy a post paid connection of Tata Photon+ . You can call up 1800-4208282


4. How do I subscribe to channel?
   
   • Download & Install the application. Run the application
   • Click on the Channel list & select the channel to view.
   • click on the 'play' button on the channel image
   • A pop up message appears asking the user if he wishes to subscribe for the channel
   • Click on 'Ok' button
   • Subscription page opens up with the list of subscription packs. User can subscribe to it.


5. I have subscribed for a channel and not able to view that channel in My channel List.Why?
   Close the application and re-open, My Channel list will refresh & you can see the newly subscribed channel along with the previously subscribe channels.


6. What is a Combo pack?
   Combo pack is subscription package, where user can select multiple channels he would like to watch.
   User can select combination of any 10 channels by paying Rs 29 (monthly subscription)
   OR
   He can opt for All Channel Combo which allows him to view all the channels by paying Rs 75  (monthly subscription)
   User
   Events such as Cricket Match/Award Functions are not part of Combo Packs.


7. Why do I not see all the channels in combo pack?
   If you have already registered for a channel, then it will not appear in Combo pack.


8.  What if I want to discontinue a particular channel from the bouquet already selected by me & add a new channel in the bouquet (& that also in the middle of the month)?
   You can not change the combination of channels in the middle of subscription period. However, You can select a completely new set of channels once the combo pack subscription is over.


9. What if I want to change from a particular plan to another plan (lets say from “10 channel” bouquet to “all channel” bouquet or vice-versa)?
   
   • If you have already opted for All Channel Combo, The application will not ask you to pay for My Combo 10.
   • If you have already opted for a 10 Channel combo & you can still opt for All Channel combo.
   • The combo packs are not auto renewed i.e. After 30 days of subscription, User will be asked to select the combination of channels once again.
   • User can not alter the combination of Combo pack during the subscription period, but is free to opt for another Combo.


10. Once switched on (or logged on), can I somehow stop the usage (consumption of Photon TV) in between in case I wish to & then resume after sometime or the only way to stop is to completely log out?
    You can stop the TV streaming by returning the Home screen. You are  a click away if you want to resume viewing the same channel.


11. Can we download any file/ content from Photon TV?
    Copy/record/repurposing any content being streamed on Photon TV is prohibited.


12. Can I record any content from Photon TV if need be?
    Copy/record/repurposing any content being streamed on Photon TV is prohibited.


13. Where do I check for the programs of particular channel?
    You can select channel from the channel list & browse the program of that channel by clicking on the bottom of preview image.


14. Will I be charged extra for playing the content?
    
    • Browsing charges as per your Photon+ tariff plan would be applicable while viewing Photon TV.
    • These charges would be over and above the subscription charges for the Photon TV.
    • Approximate data downloaded per min of TV viewing is 1.5MB. If user is on Data plan, Data consumed for viewing TV shall be deducted just like any other content browsed on internet.


15. When I open the app & click on channel for viewing, it takes long time to load the video.Why?
    The usual time for a video to start would be anywhere between 10 sec to 30 sec, this might vary based on the network conditions.


16. Is Photon TV suitable for any specific laptop or software configuration e.g. vlc, windows xp, vista, media player or a real player??
    It works with Windows OS. It does not require any other software such are real player.


17. Is there anyone whom I can meet in person or discuss over the phone or for Demo to know more about Photon TV?

18. Will I be able to use Photon TV outside HSIA coverage Area?
    Photo TV application requires High speed internet access for streaming the video. User in poor network conditions will not be able to view TV streaming seamlessly.


19. How does a customer unsubscribe from a VAS pack?
    The subscription is on a non-auto-renewable basis, so if the user does not renew his pack on expiry; he gets unsubscribed automatically.


20. Will this also work on prepaid Photon+?
    As of now this will work only on Postpaid Photon+ in “HSIA” network covered zones only.

Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to these Terms
   THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND Apalya Technologies Pvt Ltd (REFERRED TO HEREIN AS "COMPANY," "Apalya, and US," Partner" "OUR") GOVERNING YOUR ACCESS AND/OR USE OF THIS SERVICE. YOU MUST READ THESE TERMS IN THEIR ENTIRETY. Your access or use of this Service constitutes your agreement to be bound to these Terms, which includes any restrictions posted or any changes that may exist when you re-access our application. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use this Application/Service. Discontinuing use of this Application/Service shall not modify any Terms that apply to prior uses on the Application/Service.
2. Agreement to Changes or Updates
   We reserve the right to make changes and update any information or Content contained and/or Terms without prior notice. Any changes to these provisions will be incorporated into revised Terms that we will posted. Changes shall be effective when they are posted. Users have the obligation to review changes to these Terms when they access or re-access the application.
3. Application/Service Content Ownership
   This content is owned and operated by Content Providers. Content Provider, its parents, entities under common ownership or control with Content Provider ("Affiliates") or parties have granted Apalya Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Licensors") specific usage authorizations. "Content Provider" owns the logos, images, text, tools, graphics, marks, names, photographs, sound, illustrations, design elements, materials; Videos (collectively "Content") displayed or delivered on this application. Copyrights, trademarks, trade names, service marks or names, or other proprietary rights and laws protect this Content.
4. Violations and Termination
   Any conduct that in any way violates these Terms or any posted restrictions or guidelines may result, in our sole discretion, in the termination of user participation, registrations and/or our pursuit of any legal damages or remedies. If necessary, or as authorized under applicable law, we may cooperate with local, state and/or central authorities to protect our application/service, the Content, the Company, its parents, Affiliates, Licensors and/or Users; to comply with applicable laws; or to prevent unauthorized access or use of this Application/Service or Content. We retain the right to deny access to our Application/Service, in our sole discretion, to any Users for any reason, including for any violation of these Terms.
5. Application/Service Participation and Registration
   Participation on this Application/Service is voluntary. You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to participate in this offerings and registrations. You may also be required to meet an older minimum age requirement and agree to additional rules and terms posted on our Application/Service for participation in certain contests, sweepstakes, special events, or additional service offerings. You may discontinue registrations by calling us or unsubscribing through application.
6. Restrictions on Use of Content
   Use of Content for any purpose not expressly permitted herein is prohibited. Users may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, license, rent, publicly display or perform, edit, store, re-use, adapt, incorporate or create a derivative work of, in any manner, any Content obtained from this Application other than as provided herein. Any use, copying, reproduction or redistribution of any Content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Nothing contained on this Application grants, or shall be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademarks, trade names, service marks or logos without the prior written permission of Company or other third party owner of such names or marks.
7. Users expressly agree not to engage in any use or activity that:
   • interrupts, destroys, alters, damages, delays, floods or limits the functionality or integrity of this application, Content or any service, including any associated software, hardware, or telecommunications or wireless equipment;
   • manipulates identifiers or numeric information to disguise the origin of any user, device, material or other information;
   • infringes on any patent, trademark, trade name, service mark or name, copyright, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any Content;
   • contains unauthorized advertising, advertises Content as your own or solicits other users promotes any business or commercial activity for any products, goods or services without prior written consent from Company;
   • impersonates any business or entity, or falsely represents your affiliation with a person or entity;
   • causes the forwarding of information that you do not own, have the right to provide, or that is false or misdirected;
   • contains off-topic information;
   • is unlawful, harmful to adults or minors, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or otherwise objectionable; or
   • otherwise violates Company policies or the Terms of this Agreement.
   • Company, its parents, Affiliates and any content providers that conduct, operate and/or manage this service will not be responsible or liable for the actions of any users or third parties with respect to any information, materials or content posted, uploaded or transmitted.
8. Wireless Services
   The application services are provided through wireless carrier network. As part of registration Company will be collecting users information from carrier network servers. Users consent to collection of users personal information from carrier's servers.
   Also Certain activities or services available through wireless or other electronic devices may involve: (i) communications over various networks, servers or devices prior to reaching its intended recipient; (ii) changes to adapt to multiple security requirements; and (iii) changes to adapt to technology requirements of various networks. Users understand that such automated communications and changes are beyond the control of Company once Content or other information leaves the Company network or servers. Company, its parents and Affiliates are not liable or responsible for any consequence or damage resulting, directly or indirectly, from such automated communications or changes. Users must comply with any additional end user licensing restrictions in connection with wireless services. You understand and agree that Company, at its sole discretion, may discontinue or terminate any wireless or other services at any time and without notice.
9. Subscription Charges
   Current service provide options of Monthly Subscription and Pay Per day subscription plans. User consents that he fully understood available subscription/registration options and has checked with carrier charges applicable for monthly and pay per day services. User consents to the subscription charges that will be applicable by registring for this service.
10. Accuracy of Information
    Company uses reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and correctness of Content appearing on this Application/Service and the operation of the application and certain service offerings; however, the Application and service offerings may occasionally contain Content, information or specifications that are inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. We make no representations or warranties regarding Content, Application/Service, or service accuracy, validity, correctness, timeliness, reliability or that usage will be error-free. Application information or Content may not be updated on a daily basis and may not be the most current information available. Although we may post updated content and Information on our service, we may continue to allow access to the original information or Content, or we may not go back and change the original information to reflect new developments. You should independently confirm any information appearing on our Application. We are not responsible for any claim, liability or damage resulting from your use, reaction or reliance on any Content or information appearing on our Application.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
    This application/service, its content and services are provided "as is." we do not warrant, expressly or by implication, the accuracy or reliability of any content provided or posted on the application or its suitability for any particular purpose. 12. Limitation of liability

13. Leaving Our Application/Service
    When you click on any key that takes you outside of our Application/Service, your use of the service will be governed by the terms of usage and privacy policies, if any, of the particular Application/Service that you are accessing. COMPANY, ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, MEMBERS, PARTNERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR THE CONTENT, ACTIVITIES, OFFERINGS, PRIVACY PRACTICES OR TERMS OF USAGE OF OTHER APPLICATION/SERVICES.

    You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless company, its parents, affiliates, members, employees, and agents from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, costs and fees, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your violation or breach of these terms, your unauthorized access or use of content, services and/or any consequences arising out of your access or use of this application/service, content or any application services.
